4100 pages …

and 10 years later, the Harry Potter series comes to an end.

The Deathly Hallows is 759 pages long, 450 pages more than the Sorcerer’s Stone (the shortest) and 111 pages shorter than Order of the Phoenix (the longest).

The series was a never heard in the Philippines when I read the first book in early 2000. After reading the Sorcerer’s Stone, I was hooked … I bought the hardbound copies of Chamber of Secrets and Prisoner of Azkaban and I even ordered a hardbound copy of the Sorcerer Stone from Amazon.com! Just to make sure that my hardbound collection is complete. I guess adik talaga :)

As to the book itself, no spoilers here. I respect all the Potter fans out there who still havent read the last book. One thing I can say … JK Rowling saved the best for last :)

I’ve finished the book too! It’s only my second favorite though… largely due to the fact that… hmmm… but to say why it’s just a second favorite would be to give out spoilers. :) Basta, it’s a great read, just not my favorite.
