a very relaxing month?

not really … but i tried :)

On June 1st, after a 15-minute freebie massage at the office from Blue Water Day Spa, Mabe and I tried their Foot Spa + Foot Reflexology + Back Massage SPA Package. The 800 pesos we spent was worthy stress reliever. And their facility is very good … very quiet and the music is very relaxing. I actually fell asleep during the back massage. Well, maybe its also because I was very stressed that week. One thing’s for sure, I’m going back there to try their packages some more. On June 11, after failing to have a haircut from my favorite stylist (so many clients!) and salon, I decided to have a massage at Bio Essence. For 800 pesos (its a promo, I think), I had a 10-minute sauna, swedish massage and a facial. Not bad! One thing I dont like at that time … for a spa place, it was very noisy. Maybe because the shop is located in a mall (the one near our place of course)? One thing I like, the girl who gave me the massage is very good. Next time I go there, I’ll be asking for her for sure :)

And today … Mabe, Analyn and I went to Nurture Spa to relax some more. Our line of work is really that stressful! Actually, its Mabe’s treat to us. She paid a portion of our treatment (Thanks again Mabs, sa uulitin!) Analyn and I availed the Kaaya-ayang Paglingap package of the Hiyas Spa Jewels. We had a body polish/scrub, body massage and facial (instead of body wrap). Nice ha?! Mabe had the Kape Barako Coffee Scrub and the Aruga massage. We really celebrated wellness! Since this one is kind of far away, maybe it will be some time before I go back there. Maybe next time I’ll treat mother dear. I’ll try the Kape Barako scrub then :)

Hmmm … aside from the weekly pedicure, maybe foot spa, body scrub and body massage should now be a part of wellness and “pampering myself” rituals. Magastos! Maybe once every 2 months? :D

Welcome to the world of spa pampering. My fav is the whole foot treatment, foot spa, reflexology, pedicure, heaven isn’t it? But we pay an arm and a leg for this pampering here in Toronto.

You should try the Swedish Massage at Blue Water Ces! Super relaxing… you can get the foot spa + massage combo :)

Don’t think of the massages as a luxury, it really should be a part of our routine, love ourselves diba? hehehe. :)
