Historic Intramuros
2 weeks ago, we had visitors from our office in China and Indonesia and since their training crossed over a weekend, we took them for a tour of Intramuros. Since Mabe and I are not that much of tour guide, we decided to join Carlos Celdran’s “If These Walls Could Talk” walking tour of Historic Intramuros.
The 2-hour very informative and entertaining tour includes a walk around San Agustin Church and Museum, Father Blanco’s Botanical Garden and Casa Manila Museum. I must say that I really enjoyed the tour. Carlos gave not just an information about the place, but history lessons as well … of the place, Manila and Philippines. If you really want to know more about Manila, this tour is a must. I think its good for tourists and balikbayans, and for Pinoys living here in the Philippines as well … time to study your country again!
Hmmm … now I need to plan when to take the other tours offered by Carlos
As usual, click on the picture of San Agustin Church to see more of the pictures I took during the tour. Warning … most of the pics are “practice” shots. Trying to improve my photography skills
