trading places
in my more than 13-years working and being a ‘cubicle-dweller’, i’ve had 12 places. merong table lang (first job!) with computer on top. meron din namang table na nakapwesto sa tabi ng cubicle, mistula kaming squatter at para kaming pakpak ng eroplano (first job pa rin). but after that, which was about 3-4 months, it’s been cubicle all the way already.
dahil na rin sa recent reorg, we have no choice in the office but to change places … again. para magkalapit ang dapat na magkakasama
so yesterday, almost everybody packed up their things and vacated their cubicles and moved to their new ones. by 5pm, the floor was in chaos … kanya kanyang empake at galaw ng gamit. yun mga walang boxes, katulad ko, kanya kanyang dala, meron may bitbit, meron nakasakay sa upuan at meron din nakalagay sa pushcart (sosyal!)
my old cubicle … there’s my laptop, coffee, my pandesal every morning at kung ano-anong gamit sa ibabaw
she’s moving to the 10th floor. my teammate, katapat-cubicle and lunchmate for the past 2 yrs. i’m going to miss her
the chaos of moving
my new cubicle, my 13th (yikes!). with its old owner … meggy. she’s moving to the 16th floor. i now have a window seat (parang eroplano di ba?). makikita ko na ang mga rally
hay, goodluck to me on monday. itinago ko lang lahat sa cabinet ang mga gamit ko last friday
