driving late @ night
since i live outside the metro and about 30 kms from the office, i have to leave home early in the morning to avoid the traffic hell in edsa. this also applies to leaving the office. i have to leave at exactly 5pm or after 9pm, and by that time everybody who lives within the city is home already. and if i have to catch up with emails and things i have to do at the office or if we have implementation or worse, production problems, i have to no choice but go home at around 12mn (or as late as 2am!).
i really prefer driving late at night … nakakatipid ako sa gas, no traffic and i can be at home in about 30mins. but it can really be dangerous and ‘challenging’ …
first, after 12mn, most of the traffic lights are turned-off already or just in blinking mode. free for all na kumbaga. you have to watch out for those maniacs driving without bothering to check if there are other cars crossing the intersection.
next, there are so many speed maniacs out there! they dont bother to slow down before crossing an intersection, they dont bother to use their blinkers when changing lanes and they cut you off just like that … hay naku.
and … sleepy drivers …. should i say guilty to this one? dati 
… but now, i drink coffee or coke before i drive
