bored to death
this is going to be a very very very loooooooong weekend. for the first time in years, i’m spending the holy week at home. good thing we have cable tv and internet connection. and vcd/dvd player. otherwise, no way i would have agreed to this.for a non-working day, i woke up quite early. a text from a friend woke me up. but it looks like after texting me, this friend slept again, kasi hindi na nya sinagot ang text ko. hahahahaha. anyway, you know who you are …ok lang yun. receiving a text from you always makes me smile.
by the way, waking up does not necessarily mean getting up, so i got up at around 9am … gising na gising na diwa by that time. the first thing i did was turn on the tv and the computer. up to this time, hindi pa nagpapahinga ang tv pero nakapagpahinga na kahit papaano ang computer. and hindi rin porke nakabukas ang tv e nanonood ako, sinasabayan ko syempre ng pag-iinternet at pakikipagtsikahan sa ym yun. at paminsan-minsan e sinasabayan ko rin ng pagbabasa ng libro. i have 4 books beside my bed na binabasa ko. it depends sa mood ko kung ano babasahin. I have The Reptile Room (book 2 of A Series of Unfortunate Events), Five People You Meet in Heaven, Proj Mgmt book and The Complete Guide to Bowling Principles. Lately, napapadalas ang pick-up ko sa bowling book, i’m really determined to improve my game (naks, parang totoo no?). at medyo inaalikabok na yung PM book … kakaantok kasi basahin e.
there is one thing na narealize ko dahil maghapon akong nagbabad sa bahay. di na pala nagsa-signoff ang mga local tv stations pag Maundy Thursday. Channel 2 had a regular programming in the morning and just mellowed down a bit in the evening. Dati kasi Thursday pa lang talagang wala ng palabas or puro pang-holy week na mapapanood mo, yun bang tipong puro 10 Commandments, Spartacus, at kung ano-ano pa. pero ngayon hindi na. dala na rin siguro talaga ng hirap ng buhay ngayon, kaya kailangan regular programming (and commercials) pa rin.
a oo nga pala, since maghapon nakabukas ang tv at talagang wala akong magawang matino sa bahay, nakuha ko pang mag-inventory ng mga napanood kong palabas nitong maghapon …

8. Darna and the Giants on Cinema One (gosh, alam ko colored tong pelikula na to, pero bakit mukha na syang black and white)
9. Rugrats on Nickelodeon
10. Entertainment Tonight on ETC
11. and currently, yung pelikula ni Wesley Snipes … Murder at 1500 (tama ba yung number? sa Cinemax naman to)
actually, meron pa nga yatang around 15minutes na pinatulan ko yung CSI sa Wowow kahit naka-dub sa Japanese.
