of churches and weddings …

i once told a friend that i can never see myself getting married and walking down the aisle. i dont know why, pero siguro yun ang nakasulat sa mga palad ko. there are some people who are never really destined to get married. ay, hindi po ako nagsesenti … naalala ko lang kasi kanina after kong umattend ng binyag e kasalan ang kasunod dun sa simbahan.

anyways, eventhough kulang ako sa imagination, when it comes to the place, i always know where i would want to get married … or if ever hindi pwede yung church, meron din akong alternatives …

Paoay Church … hindi naman sa ayaw ko mag-imbita, pero eto talaga ang first choice ko. nung una kong napuntuhan ang simbahan na to, na-inlove na ko sa kanya and the first words i uttered was ‘dito ako ikakasal’. that was 5pm, May 2, 1998 … since then, twice na ko nakakabalik sa Paoay and Ilocandia, breathless pa rin ako every time napupunta ko sa simbahan na to. at nagwiwish pa rin ako na dito ako makasal balang araw :)

Paco Park … alam nyo yung chapel dun sa gitna ng sementeryo??? that’s the one !!! maliit lang ang place, napaka-intimate, for sure solemn ang ceremony.

Binondo Church … at the time na super confused ako sa buhay ko, this church was my solitude.

Saint Joseph the Worker Parish Church … eto ang parish church namin. Part sya ng childhood ko, chapel pa lang sya noon. Can you imagine, member ako ng choir dito dati?

Duomo(in Milan) … ibig sabihin Italyano ang dapat na mapangasawa ko !!!
